In this episode, Executive Director Jennifer White, Education Coordinator Amber Gonzalez listen and learn from Terry Atwater, CEO and Executive Director of It Takes A Village, Incorporated regarding the recent protests in the Wichita area sparked by the death of George Floyd and how our community can move forward together as well as our responsibility as individuals to effect change. It Takes A Village is a transitional living environment that provides youth in foster care and other at-risk youth with a structured environment, educational and employment opportunities, life skills development and a place to call home. ICT S.O.S. has partnered with It Takes A Village for many years, we consider Terry Atwater a friend and admire his leadership in serving youth in our community.
