Since arriving in Wichita, he has focused on pushing officers closer to the communities they serve, building relationships, increasing the use of technology, and reducing crime. He has successfully worked with our community to create Wichita’s civilian review board and focuses on de-escalation, communication, and tactics to lower use of force incidents.<br />

It Takes A Village is a transitional living environment that provides youth in foster care and other at-risk youth with a structured environment, educational and employment opportunities, life skills development and a place to call home. ICT S.O.S. has partnered with It Takes A Village for many years, we consider Terry Atwater a friend and admire his leadership in serving youth in our community.</p>
