Capital Campaign

The Vision for Our Place
As ICT SOS grows, so does our need for a space that reflects the dignity, safety, and care every survivor deserves. The Our Place Capital Campaign is a transformative renovation project designed to expand our capacity, deepen our community roots, and accelerate our mission to end human trafficking.

Why Now?
We are transforming our facility ot create a safe, welcoming sanctuary rooted in hope and healing. While our core services remain steadfast, our current walls limit our potential. This campaign changes that.

Driving the Mission Forward
Founded in 2011, ICT SOS has been at the forefront of the fight against human trafficking and exploitation in Wichita. What began as a grassroots movement has evolved into a thriving 501(c)(3) nonprofit - growing from a modest office above a coffee shop, to the Child Advocacy Center, a space on Emporia Street, and now to our own dedicated space.

But as the crisis of exploitation evolves, so must our response.

Building on over a decade of community impact, ICT SOS has a critical opportunity to expand. We are launching this capital campaign to establish Our Place - a dedicated, trauma-informed Client Resource Center designed specifically to welcome survivors, restore dignity, and support their journey toward healing. This expansion is the literal brick-and-mortar embodiment of what ICT SOS stands for: a welcoming, comfortable, and safe environment.

Anticipating a Surge in Impact
Our current facilities limit our capacity, but the demand for our services continues to rise. By adding approximately 7,800 square feet to our operations, Our Place will dramatically scale our ability to serve the community.

With this new space, we are dramatically scaling our ability to serve, protect, and educate our community. In our Advocacy Program, where we walked alongside 61 clients served last year, the new facility positions us for a powerful increase in client support and care. This expansion will also allow us to continue our Fresh Start and Clean Start programs. Finally, building on the 6,595 individuals we reached last year through Community Education, this new building renovation will allow us to introduce crucial new parenting classes, deeply strengthening our prevention and education efforts in our community.

Build it With Us
We have the location, the blueprints, and the momentum - now we need the community to help us bring it to life.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Hutton Development, who purchased the building, and Meritrust Credit Union, who provided the financing, this property will be leased to ICT SOS at a below-market rate to ensure long-term operational sustainability.

Where the Funds Go
Every dollar raised through our capital campaign will directly fund a complete, trauma-informed remodel of our 7,800-square-foot building, expansion of staffing to support our higher client capacity, and the sustainability of new, specialized survivor services.

Our Place Campaign is proud to kick off with leadership support from the Foulston Family (through the Wichita Foundation) and the Docking Group at Baird Wealth Management.
