We are currently collecting items to assemble “Fresh Start” bags for several of our partners. If you would like to create a bag or donate some of the items needed, you can download a list.
These bags have clothing, hygiene items, a journal or comfort item and a gift card for a meal in them. These will be given to youth in crisis as a small way to start the healing process and remind them they are cared about by our community!

We collect items to assemble Clean Start baskets for youth transitioning from foster care into their first dorm or apartment or survivors moving into safe housing. These baskets vary from person to person to meet their needs but include things like toilet paper, cleaning supplies, towels, kitchen utensils, etc. Clean Start baskets are a welcome gift to help people ease into a new home with all the basics they need!

Why does ICT SOS only accept new, good-quality items?
We believe that everyone has value and deserves dignity simply for being a human.
New items send a message to the children and adults receiving them that they are
worthy of nice, new things - no strings attached.
Should I remove the tags from the items?
Nope! If an item has a tag on it please leave it on.
Who does this program serve?
Clean Start Baskets are for youth or adults transitioning into housing. These are
distributed by case managers and advocates working with these clients as they
transition!
Do all of the items on the list go to each person?
That depends! We will only distribute items that will be useful to the receiver. Any
combination of items may be included in a Clean Start Basket.
