Volunteer Opportunity- River Festival

The Wichita Children's Home, along with the Exploited and Missing Children's Unit, helps staff the EMCU RV during the Wichita River Festival. This is the "Lost & Found" for kids who get separated from their parents during the festival activities.

WCH & ICT S.O.S. are looking for volunteers to help man the RV during key times of the festival when they tend to get busiest.

In order to volunteer, you need to have been through volunteer orientation at WCH. If you missed the April orientation, the next one is Tuesday May 3rd at 6pm at WCH. Please call Beth at WCH to sign up. 316-684-6581

Available times during the festival:

June 3rd: 6-10:30pm

June 4th: 9am-10:30pm

June 5th: 11am-9:30pm

June 6th: 5:30-10:30pm

June 7th: 5:30-10:30pm

June 8th: 5:30-10:30pm

June 9th: 5:30-10:30pm

June 10th: 5:30-10:30pm

June 11th: 10am-10:30pm

You can sign up for a 2 or 4 hour block of time during any of these available time slots. If interested, please email info@ictsos.org with your preferred volunteer times.

This will be a great opportunity to meet the staff of Street Outreach as well as EMCU officers. It will also help to create community awareness. (We *may* have snazzy T-Shirts by then!)
